Redundancy - how do I ascertain the “pool” from whom I must choose
Say you are a large UK company with many sites in the UK, one of which you are going to close
Should be considering for redundancy only those site managers at that one site or, given that you have mobility clauses in all site managers contracts, all the Company’s site managers?
On the one hand, it is cheaper to consult with the small number of managers. On the other hand, it may be an opportunity to “lose” some under-performing site managers elsewhere
