Dealing with Greenfield and Brownfield sites

We have experience in the development of various types of property. We have acted in the acquisition of both "Greenfield" and "Brownfield" sites and dealt with the construction contracts for clients.

Planning enforcement

We have fought Enforcement Notices in respect of commercial premises and Listed Buildings. In Public Inquiries we have organized a team of other professionals - barristers, town planning and landscape managers - to persuade the Department of the Environment appointed Inspectors to allow our clients planning appeal.

When the Planning Authorities believed that our clients had deliberately decided to ignore Enforcement Notices, we have defended them on the subsequent criminal proceedings, so far with a 100% success rate.

Restrictive covenants

We have much experience in just how tricky these covenants can be and just how easy it is for others to be caught out by them. We have obtained injunctions and payments of substantial damages from nationally known house builders for erecting houses, access roads and drains on land not belonging to them or in breach of restrictive covenants.
