Public Law is an area of law which deals with the exercise of power by public bodies.

It is most frequently likely to be engaged when dealing with a claim for Judicial Review – see our articles under this heading

It can also be engaged when dealing with Tax Litigation and Disputes where public law principles are seen through such issues as proportionality, the principle of fiscal neutrality and European Law and Human rights.
