Dealing with taxation

We have much experience in all the usual taxes affecting the transactions with we deal on behalf of clients. An associate of ours specialises in tax avoidance schemes and arrangements (tax avoidance is legal, evasion is not!) for film stars and high profile authors and writers. Much of his time is spent on the West Coast of the USA negotiating film rights and other related contracts

We would prefer to leave specialist tax planning to the accountants (although we often are involved in the implementation).

However we are now involved in our third Inland Revenue Special Compliance Office Investigation where the tax interest and penalties being sought is measured in the millions of pounds  and our job is to minimise the damage.
