To summarise, a Will can be
- a simple document for a single person with no children and modest assets
- a "mirror-image Will" or "mutual Will" for "husband and wife with 2.2 children, a dog and a mortgage"
- a complicated document involving trusts (secret or express), Inheritance Tax planning and dealing with any or all of the situations that will affect your Estate after you are deceased.
Lasting Power of Attorney - At the same time as preparing your Will, we will discuss with you whether you wanted a trusted relative or friend empowered to deal with your affairs should you become mentally incapacitated.
