We are a bustling, independent firm of solicitors with a diverse skill set and team, which provides a full range of professional legal services from our offices in the London Docklands and in Kings Hill, Near Maidstone in Kent.

We are looking to expand by employing solicitors / legal executives / paralegals who have a following – under an arrangement whereby they take the following percentages of the gross fees earned / received

•        70% on work introduced by them 

•        50% on work introduced by us and assigned by us to them 

•        15% of work introduced by them but dealt with my someone else in the firm

This allows them to build up a “firm within a firm” with the administration headaches all being dealt with by us, but in some areas of law (see below), we can provide a bit of help to get going

Conveyancing. In the property department, unfortunately, we have no spare work to pass over to get anyone started, but if you have a following of sufficient size that you could live on 70% of the fees, we would like to talk to you 

Family work. We are interested in finding someone to do privately funded matrimonial work, mainly ancillary relief!  Here our historical billings are about £80k p.a, and this work can be passed over to the chosen candidate. This, on a 50/50 share, would provide a fine start to someone experienced in that area of work to develop further

Wills / Probate. We have a large database of clients and contacts, which if approached sensitively would yield a number of new instructions for Wills and we are looking for someone to “mine” that database

Personal Injury work. It is anticipated that 2010 will bring a lot of new instructions from our contacts and we will be looking to “gear up” quickly as and when the rush comes. Again this will be on a profit share

Other areas of law. If you are experienced in another area of law; have a following of sufficient size that you could live on 70% of the fees and would like to build up a “firm within a firm”, we would like to talk to you

Finders fee. If you do not feel that these arrangements are suitable for you because you need a steady salary from the start, but you can introduce someone to us and whom we take on, we will pay you a “finder’s fee of £1,000.
